Be Good Do Good

Working through several iterations of abstraction, Be Good Do Good is an exploration of traditional rug design through my own artistic process. Working from drawing to sculpture to drawing again, each step captures the essence of the previous until only a suggestion of the source remains. The rugs are a combination of elements of pattern and asymmetry, tradition and modernity.
